The impact of COVID-19 has been far-reaching. Like everyone, we’ve faced a few challenges from going fully remote -- from slow internet because of damaged undersea cables in Vietnam, to team members relocating on short notice because of tightening border controls and visa restrictions. However, we’re relieved to report that all 23 of us are all healthy, fine, and productive while working across 6 countries and 9 cities.
As we are now a UK company, we do qualify for several aid measures for businesses. But thanks to the continuing support of online merchants like many of you, we are still growing, albeit at a slightly slower pace. We have no plans to furlough any employees or accept any handouts from the UK government and hope that such benefits only go to businesses that truly need them.
Despite the unpredictability of COVID-19, we remain fully operational and are working remotely from home while actively following the social distancing rules in our specific locations. Our customer support team provides unchanged 24/7 availability and our product development team has been on track with their Q1 roadmap to improve the WooCommerce plugin, as well as create a new, highly customizable email editor that allows you to perform A/B testing and send emails in multiple languages. We also have ambitious plans for the next few months and will share those developments soon.
